Donna Caputo
Donna Caputo discovered the philanthropic industry by accident a number of years ago when she found herself part of a two-person development team. While she enjoyed building relationships with donors and volunteers, she soon realized she was more interested in the business operations aspect of the work. Shortly after, she transitioned into consulting and has never looked back.
Since then, Donna has found immense joy and fulfillment developing relationships with clients and helping them solve their operational challenges. At BWF, Donna serves as an associate vice president, helping nonprofits with operations optimization, systems implementation, and change management for increased efficiency and success. Supporting a good cause takes many forms, and Donna uses her expertise to help organizations optimize their giving support and operations in order to grow their reach and impact.
“Don't just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.” Romans 12:9 NLT
When she’s not consulting, Donna is involved in a mentoring program for incarcerated teenage girls. As a volunteer, she is matched with a mentee who she regularly visits during their time in a juvenile facility. She has found this to be a very personal, meaningful experience and a true blessing in her life.
