For Katrina Klaproth, the fact that “we actually make a difference … every single day” is what she finds the most inspiring about nonprofits and philanthropy. Over 20 years ago, she “stumbled into the field and it’s all she’s ever done since.” Ask her about her career path and you’ll find that she’s emphatic that she can’t imagine doing anything else. The fact that Katrina gets to work with individuals who strive daily to support their missions and passions is, as she says, contagious.
In 2016, Katrina joined the BWF principal team as a firm owner. She’s a results-driven executive with a record of accomplishment in both the public and private sectors including higher education, healthcare, software, government, and finance. In her role at the firm, she’s responsible for program design, technology implementations, change management, integrated program development, and planning.
When not helping to lead the firm, Katrina enjoys traveling, community group involvement, and what she dubs “high-risk pursuits.”
